Angela Nelson
Vice President of Regulatory Affairs
Ms. Nelson has served as Axogen’s Vice President of Regulatory Affairs since March 2022. She is a global regulatory affairs strategist, successful executive leader and scientific professional with more than 20 years of combined experience in business and regulatory strategy, program and project management, product development through rational design, application of computational chemistry methodologies, and academia. The diversity in her professional background spans an executive appointment with PPD, an industry-leading Clinical Research Organization as well as Cardinal Health. In her time with PPD she oversaw the global regulatory science function of +100 regulatory professionals in 50 countries and had accountability for delivering regulatory and business-critical initiatives across all aspects and phases of the drug development and commercial processes. At Cardinal Health, she executed multiple consultative and scientific product and strategy development positions for novel/first-in-class products and previously held an academic faculty position at the University of Missouri- Kansas City’s School of Medicine. Ms. Nelson holds an active global Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC-global), the leading credential for regulatory professionals in the healthcare sector from the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (RAPS), her MBA and Bachelor of science degrees in Chemistry and Psychology.
